Weakness: How to Cure Weakness or Fatigue

We see many people who remain weak most of the time, and some people feel weak only for some time. Otherwise, they are always full of energy.

Fatigue is such a problem that needs to be treated at the right time, because the reason for the weakness in the body, can develop other diseases, for example: weakness has come due to lack of hemoglobin, and if it is not noticed at the right time. If the level of hemoglobin is not increased, the Iron deficiency may increase further and due to this, any critical disease may occur.

Weakness is a disease that can happen to people of all ages, and any gender, and this disease happens to a person at some point in their life span.

If you have ever done too much physical work or exercised too much, it is very common to feel tired or weak in the body. In such a situation, if proper rest is taken, then the weakness gets cured.

But if you are living a daily routine life, and weakness increases day by day, then it is a disease, it is very important to know the real cause of this disease and take the right treatment as soon as possible.

There is a solution for almost every health problem in Ayurveda, if you get the right information then you can get rid of this problem yourself. It is not very difficult to bring energy back to the body. If you do not have weakness due to any major disease, then you can easily regain strength.

If you feel tired or feeling weak, firstly, you should take some rest. If you are feeling weak or tired even after taking proper rest, then foremost it is important to know the reason why you are feeling tired or weak. Only by finding the right cause can the right treatment be found.

Symptoms of Body Weakness:

  1. Fatigue: Feeling excessively tired or lacking energy, even after resting.
  2. Muscle weakness: Difficulty in performing tasks that require physical strength, such as lifting objects or walking.
  3. Lightheadedness or Dizziness: Feeling faint or unsteady, which can lead to weakness.
  4. Generalized Weakness: A sense of overall physical weakness or lack of stamina.
  5. Difficulty Concentrating: Weakness can affect cognitive function, leading to trouble focusing or thinking clearly.
  6. Shortness of Breath: Weakness may be accompanied by difficulty breathing, which can be a sign of various medical conditions.
  7. Reduced Coordination: Weakness can impair coordination and balance, making movements feel unsteady or clumsy.
  8. Loss of Appetite: Weakness may lead to a decreased desire to eat, which can further exacerbate feelings of fatigue.
  9. Palpitations: Weakness may be associated with an irregular heartbeat or palpitations.
  10. Nausea or vomiting: Weakness can sometimes be accompanied by gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea or vomiting.

Ayurvedic Perspective on Body Weakness:

Dosha Imbalance: According to Ayurveda, body weakness can occur due to imbalances in the three doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha. Each dosha governs different functions in the body, and when they are imbalanced, it can lead to various health issues, including weakness. For example, excess VATA can cause dryness and depletion in the body, leading to weakness, while excess KAPHA can result in sluggishness and lethargy.

There are many reasons for weakness in the body; the reason for weakness can be different for different people. Therefore the treatments also differ.

Today we will tell you about the causes of weakness and fatigue in the body and its treatment.

Body Weakness Reasons

Gymming:  Nowadays, going to the gym and exercising is very common. There is nothing wrong in going to the gym, but doing more exercise than you can do, leads to weakness and pain in the body.

In the beginning, exercise a little less and gradually as the body becomes stronger, increase the exercise and eat the right amount of protein and nutritious food, it will help to prevent weakness. If you are going to the gym, then make sure that your gym trainer is well-trained. If not,  then the body may be harmed and weakness may increase.

Lack of Physical Activity:

When over-exercising is harmful then doing no physical activity is also harmful and causes for weakness and fatigue. If there is no special activity of the body throughout the day, then a time comes when the body starts losing its strength. And weakness surrounds the body.

In this case, you should start doing physical activities like walking, yoga, etc. And increase exercise every week. It is a wrong belief that exercising weakens the body. Exercising keeps the body fit and healthy. Every person can exercise according to age and health. Even if you are healthy, you should exercise a little. People who do regular exercise do not fall ill frequently.

OBESITY: It is very common for a person who is overweight at his age and height to have weakness. According to Ayurveda, when VATA Dosha  (Vayu)  increases in the body, obesity increases. And it makes the body weak. Body Ache also occurs due to VATA Dosha. The obese person feels more hungry, in this situation you should get your body massaged regularly with Ayurvedic herbal oils. Eating habits should be changed. If obesity has increased due to any disease, then there should be proper treatment for that disease. One should exercise as much as possible. It takes time to lose weight, so be patient and keep trying. You will be successful.

Ayurveda Remedy to cure obesity: take 2 to 4 tablets of Medohar Guggulu with warm water in the morning and evening.

Also stop using excess salt, sugar, and all-purpose flour in your diet. Avoid fast foods and unhealthy foods.

Anemia: Iron deficiency, vitamin B12, and hemoglobin deficiency (protein in red blood cells) always weaken the body, causing fatigue, irritability, stress, extreme weakness, headache, body aches, etc. Symptoms are visible.

 This deficiency is seen in all genders. But most of the time anemia has been found in women, because of menstruation,

Anemia Treatment:

Saptamrit Loh: It is available in both tablet and powder form, 2 tablets in the morning and evening should be taken with milk or water.

Drakshasava: Take 2 spoons, mix it in water, and drink it twice a day to cure anemia.

Fruits like mango, banana, grapes, dates, beet juice, spinach juice, and drumstick soup should be taken regularly. And one should drink plenty of coconut water. Coconut water is a storehouse of minerals, which are useful for the body.

There is special advice for women to drink 3 to 4 green fresh coconut water in a week. This is a natural drink with great energy.

Nutritional deficiencies: Not getting enough essential nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, or calories, can result in weakness and fatigue.

  1. Vitamin B6: Inadequate intake of vitamin B6 can lead to weakness and fatigue, as it is involved in energy metabolism and the production of neurotransmitters.
  • Vitamin b6 is found in a variety of animal and plant foods. Chicken liver – Tuna – Salmon – Fortified cereals – Chickpeas – Poultry.
  • Some vegetables and fruits, especially dark leafy greens, bananas, papayas, oranges, and cantaloupe
  1. Vitamin C: While less common, deficiency in vitamin C can lead to weakness, fatigue, and susceptibility to infections due to its role in immune function and collagen synthesis.

  1. Magnesium: Magnesium deficiency can cause muscle weakness, fatigue, and cramps, as magnesium is involved in muscle and nerve function.

  1. Vitamin D deficiency

Leucorrhoea in women:

Leucorrhoea is a condition in which women get white, smooth fluid discharge from the vagina, sometimes white and sometimes red. Which is in Ayurveda called Safed Pradar or Rakta Pradar. This is a disease that completely spoils a woman’s body, Body pain and, itching occurs in the vagina. The patient remains weak throughout the day. Excessive pain occurs in the calf muscle and lower back. It is important to get treatment for Leucorrhoea as soon as possible. This disease causes many other diseases. Medical consultation is necessary for this disease.

Constipation:

Constipation is a cause of physical weakness, if the bowel is not clear, the body will be lethargic and sleepy throughout the day. So, get rid of the constipation as soon as possible. You can try the Ayurveda remedies given below.

  • Take one spoonful of castor oil add to a cup of tea and drink it. Do not eat anything for 4 to 5 hours. You can only take tea 2 to 3 times. You will get a clear motion. Do these 3 times a week. you can drink this mixture at night too, before going to bed if you don’t have time in the morning.
  • Take Harad tablets or Triphala Tablets before night, if you have rigid constipation then take these tablets along with warm water.
  • Take Amaltaas stick kernel soaked in water and have it before going to bed.
  • Take one tablespoon of Isabgol flicks soaked with water or milk.

Poor Digestion (Agni): Weak digestion, or impaired digestive fire (Agni), can lead to the formation of toxins (Aama) in the body. These toxins can accumulate and block the channels, impairing the nourishment of tissues and causing weakness.

Ayurveda Remedy: Take  2 Agnitundi vati with water. take it twice a day. It will cure poor digestion.

Additional Causes of Body Weakness in Women:

  1. Menstrual Blood Loss: Women are at a higher risk of iron deficiency due to menstrual blood loss. Iron is essential for the production of hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to tissues. Iron deficiency anemia can lead to weakness, fatigue, and other symptoms.
  2. iron deficiency in pregnant women: Pregnancy and breastfeeding increase the nutritional demands on a woman’s body, especially Iron deficiency,  making them more susceptible to nutrient deficiencies if dietary intake is inadequate.
  3. Hormonal Changes: Fluctuations in hormones, such as during menopause or in conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), can affect energy levels and contribute to weakness in women.
  4. Chronic Health Conditions: Certain chronic health conditions more commonly affect women and can cause weakness. For example, thyroid disorders, autoimmune diseases, and chronic fatigue syndrome can all lead to fatigue and weakness.
